Community Crossroads Center is overwhelmed by the generosity of the more than 40 churches that provide dinner every night of the week and breakfast on the weekends. . The shelter administration recently had a lunch-time meeting with the "Ambassadors" from these churches to get input from them, and to serve them for a change. Charles Young (Director of Operations) was the short-order cook, along with Jim from United Way, who grilled the hamburgers and hotdogs. They were assisted by Case workers Tonette Latham (Housing Services Coordinator), Debra Edwards (Shelter Case Manager) and Kim Pontarelli (Administrative Assistant). Bob Williams (CCC Executive Director) orchestrated the meeting and kept the conversations flowing.
