We are hosting our third community forum for Community Crossroads Center on September 7th at 11:30AM! Lunch will be served promptly at 11:30. We have some very important projects underway one being our Independence Road transitional housing program.This is a little of how it works: the applicant pays 15 percent of their net income for programming fees and they’re required to save 30 percent of their net income, which is given back to them at the end of their stay. We hope to help a lot of people transition into homes that they can call their own.Another project we are working on is our partnership with the Pet Food Pantry to help build kennels outside for residents with dogs. We want to try and keep families together by keeping the animals out of the shelters and with their owners.We have gained a great deal of insight from our forums as well as receiving feedback from the community, both positive and negative.
