We Need $50,000 to Continue to Fight Homelessness
A jar with the word give on it being held by some hands, published to "We Need $50,000 to Continue to Fight Homelessness"

With the generous donations of individuals like you, we were able to build a new center to help fight homelessness and keep individuals off the streets. Over the past 4 years we have been able to cut almost $25,000 from our annual budget and we continue to look at additional ways to be fiscally sustainable. As we come to the end of the fiscal year, operational funds for the Center are more critical than ever. Even though our new Center boasts the accomplishments of a community coming together, operational costs to maintain the new building and care for the homeless still exist. Our monthly expenses total approximately $50,000 per month.Last year we provided housing to 85 men, women and children on a daily basis for an annual cost of about $590,000. This year we have a $50,000 shortfall in operational funds. This is due to several reasons, most significantly a decrease in donations and funding cuts by several long-term grant agencies. As we continue to look at new ways to maintain or sustain our operations, we ask for your help to communicate the message that we still have considerable financial needs associated with providing housing to the homeless in Greenville and all of Pitt County.Your donation can help make a difference in our community and help us continue our mission of helping others. Donations can be of any amount. No donation is too small. With your support, we can become more financially stable and continue to fight homelessness in our community. To donate click the donate button below or visit us at our office Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. - 5:00 pm and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thank you for your continuing support.WANT TO HELP THOSE IN NEED?
