Volunteering for homeless shelters during the holidays can help spread holiday cheer to those in need. During the holiday season, it is easy to forget those unlucky individuals who will have no loved ones to share their meals with, or perhaps who won't have the means of getting a meal at all.We'd thus like to take a moment to thank Open Door Ministries for volunteering to bring christmas cheer into our Shelter.The Shelter welcomed children from Open Door Ministries and enjoyed hearing them sing a Christmas carol for the staff. They brought doughnuts for the Shelter residents as well. It was such a joy to stop all the hustle and bustle of preparing goodie bags and receiving donations and watch the children sing their hearts out.
