A Medieval Fundraiser Success
The homeless knight published as part of "A Medieval Fundraiser Success"

On May 23rd, we held our Homeless Knights Fundraiser at the Dickinson Avenue Public House, and thanks to everyone who came out to support it was a fundraiser success! This medieval-themed night was full of entertainment of all sorts. With multiple people dressed up according to the theme and a large knight statue, our attendees were taken back in time. Authentic medieval music was played throughout the event, and after some words spoken by our directors, the rest of the night was filled with fellowship between those who support the shelter and came to enjoy a night out.

Thanks to all that attended, we made $9,296!

Those who made a donation of $25 or more were awarded a special certificate of Knighthood from the Community Crossroads Center. With those donations and more, we raised several thousand dollars that will go directly to helping the issue of homelessness within our community. All the purchases made at the fundraiser will help us continue to manage the day-to-day activities of the shelter, such as food, shelter, and job assistance.

We would like to thank our generous sponsors, such as the DAP House who hosted the event, for allowing this night to be possible. Without these sponsors, the event would not have been as great as it turned out to be. We hope everyone enjoyed this night as much as we did, and we cannot wait to see the impact all of your donations make within our shelter.
