Well, here’s your chance. We are having a “beat the building” farewell party for the old shelter. You can whack a brick, have hot dogs and hamburgers, and tour the new facility. Our new building officially opened last week, and with the transition to our new facilities we are saying goodbye to the old shelter. The new building features 110 beds (up from 78), four family rooms with private common area, a state of the art kitchen, and much more. We'd love for you to come out and see the amazing changes we have been able to make with the help of our community. Join us for a chance to let off some steam and say farewell to our old shelter as we start a new journey!Tickets are $20 for five whacks.*When: Saturday, July 18, 2015, 12 noon to 3 PMWhere: 207 Manhattan Avenue, Greenville, NC 27834Contact: Casey Holland or Kim Little, 252-752-0829 cholland@greenvillecommunityshelter.org or klittle@greenvillecommunityshelter.org*For your protection: All participants must wear long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed toe shoes.
