Students Celebrate Catholic Schools Week with Service

To celebrate Catholic Schools Week, the 8th grade students from Saint Peter’s Catholic School came to the Shelter as part of the call to service.  They provided help in the Community Clothes Closet and in the Donation Collection Center.  This was one of many service projects the students participated in, including Packs 4 Patriots, volunteering at the Food Bank, and Third Street Academy.

Volunteers of school-age children and adults are so necessary at the Shelter.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us, stop by our office at 207 Manhattan Avenue or download a CCC Volunteer Application, and send it to: vc@greenvillecommunityshelter.org. Or you may bring it by the office Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.
