Local Churches Help the Homeless With Out of the Box Fundraiser

On May 4th, First Christian Church held their 3rd annual “Out of the Box” event to raise awareness to homelessness in Greenville and Pitt County. We thank the “Salt and Light” youth of First Christian Church along with their Youth group leaders, Jeremy & Stacey Cook, Tim & Dawn Manning, Whit & Karen Brown and Jereme and Jennifer Blizzard for helping us in our mission here at Community Crossroads Center.

Also on the same night, St. James United Methodist Church youth, under the supervision of their Director of Youth Ministries, Abby Gillette, held their first annual “Out of the Box” event.We thank both of you very much for your leadership and compassion in helping the homeless in our community.

On the 29th of June, Koinonia Christian Center will be holding their first annual Out of the Box event on their campus.
