Basketball Players Use Teamwork To Clean Up

Thank you to Coach Clemons, Coach Foreman, Cora Banks and the GNC Elite 9th-10th grade basketball team for their desire to help the homeless by helping out at CCC. The grounds around CCC needed some spring trimming and clean-up, so we asked if the boys would be interested in helping to clean, weed, trim the grounds. The response was a definite yes. Imagine our surprise when they came with a professional truck and equipment. As it turns out, Coach Foreman has his own lawncare company, Neighborhood Lawncare and Landscaping! The coach not only brought all of these fine young men, but professional equipment and a truck to haul the yard waste away! Many hands make light work and the team had the whole place trimmed and cleaned in just two hours. Our community is fortunate to have civic-minded leaders to train these young men not only in sports, but in life-skills and compassion for others. Thank you to Cora Banks for coordinating this project.
