What Our Fundraising Events Support
Your purchases at our fundraising events help us keep up with the major day-to-day activities we provide shelter residents, such as food, shelter, and job assistance.

The Honor Card
Thanks to your generosity, we sold 2,700 honor cards during the 2015 holiday season!
Each holiday season, homeless shelters across North Carolina partner with artist William Mangum for the Honor Card fundraiser. For a donation of only $5, donors received a beautiful card they could address to any individual. 100% of this donation went directly to our Center to help feed, clothe, and provide shelter to our residents.
How the honor card helps us fight homelessness
Since 1988, William Mangum has created an Honor Card every holiday season and has helped raise over $5.6 million to help fight homelessness. Since its inception, more than 500,000 Honor Cards have been sent to friends and family members. These cards have helped homeless shelters across North Carolina to feed, clothe, and provide shelter to thousands of individuals. If you would like more information about the honor card, please visit www.thehonorcard.com.
